Hello community,
I have issues referencing variables. According to documentation and all tutorials I have watched I can reference a variable using % signs like this %VariableName%. However it does not work for me. If I try to do it this way, it is interpreted as text. If I use variable list by clicking {x} sign and choose variable from the list it writes it as =VariableName and then it correctly displays content of the variable in message box. This is the root for my problems. Originally I wanted to loop for rows in a table a reference specific cell using column names, but I ended up troubleshooting this. If this is not solved that I cannot do anything because there is no documentation for referencing variables in PAD without having the % sign referencing working.
I would be very thankfull for any help. I would be happy to provide more info about my setup if needed.
Thanks so much. You made my day.
Unfortunately I don't think you can turn it off after creating a flow with Power Fx on. You should create a new flow with the Power Fx not enabled.
Or if you want to use the Power Fx version then you need to use Power Fx reference (similar to Excel formulas). That feature came out just couple of months ago and it's still in preview so all the tutorials are made with the default %variableReferences%.
I got the same problem, It is becaouse of the Power FX. But I don't know how to turn Power FX off.
Hi,
I thing you have enable power Fx in power automate that why %variable% not working for you , you can try to disable it then try to used variable in %% in this format
(Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)
Thanks & Regards
