Bulk Edit results in Error 0X80072500

Good morning,

I took away a form field from being hidden, and after doing so any bulk editing of entries results in a 0X80072500 error. I can edit the fields individually.

The below is the log I get from the error.

Exception Message: 2 of 2 records could not be saved. Failed record ids are: 7dd2b34b-ea3e-f111-88b3-7c1e527896f9,a199b986-633e-f111-88b4-7c1e521d4087.
The error of first failed record is:
Operation called with invalid attributes in columnSet.

Based on the error code long - 2147015424 with the message Operation called with invalid attributes in columnSet, determines the issue is how data is being requested / retrieved within the application.

I could find similar forum post from the past and its verified too just check does it help for you as well Bulk Edit results in Error 0X80072500

The error occurs because after unhiding the field, Dynamics includes it in the bulk edit ColumnSet—but that field type is not valid for bulk operations, causing the request to fail.

Quick Resolution

Remove that field from the view used for bulk edit

Or revert it to hidden for bulk scenarios

I have reversed the change and even removed the field from the form entirely, but it still gives the error.

We also just started getting this error, but we have not made any changes to the form. I've even tried creating a form with just 1 field and got the same error.
