I found a blog on rounded corners for dropdowns but was not able to duplicate the results. Is there no basic way to round those corners like you can with other fields? I'm going to need to go back and change 200 fields back to rectangles, LOL. Live and learn.

There is no out-of-the-box way but there is a simple workaround. Have you tried putting the dropdown inside a container and adjust the border radius of the container? It will look like this:
