Connecting to MySQL hosted in AWS - Power Automate Flow

Hi all,

 

Trying to build a Power Automate flow that will connect to a MySQL database hosted in AWS. Currently using an M365 service account on the flow that has the power automate premium license, and therefore the premium MySQL connector. 

 

Main aim is to export the MySQL database as a CSV and upload it to SharePoint online to be viewed in a read-only state. However, having issues connecting to the MySQL database. Any suggestions? Getting the below error:

    Did you set up a gateway in AWS as well?

    Hi there,

    We were given the details for what appears to be the URL for the sql database, as well as a port number. So would this gateway have to be setup by someone in AWS? How would this then be connected to in Power automate?

    You set the gateway up and make the flow developers connection creators in the gateway. Then they can create the required connection in the flow action.

    As the gateway administrator you add them to the gateway as connection creators.

    Just to confirm is this the type of gateway you're referring to? Just looking at how to set one up Creating a gateway - AWS Storage Gateway (amazon.com)

    No, you are looking for a Microsoft Enterprise Gateway.
