Left Navigation button click

Hi,

I have created a left navigation component and added it to all screens. When users click the navigation buttons, the application usually navigates to the appropriate screen as expected. However, at times nothing happens when I click the navigation buttons, and for some users the application navigates correctly but the controls appear misaligned or overlapped. In edit mode, I do not face any issues.

What could be the reason for this behavior, and how can it be resolved? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 Thank you.

    Hello @OK29

There are multiple reasons this can happen, but it would really help to see your actual expression flows for your navigation since you said you built on.

It could be as simple as you have a bug, and the screen value that should be there to Navigate them to it just isn't there. Why or how is impossible to say without seeing your control, how it works etc.

Does it always do it (randomly) for the same people or is it random for anyone?
For the people who get things misaligned, is it always the same people? Is it randomly anyone? Do they have the same resolution as those for whom it never happens?

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
    Sincerely, Michael Gernaey

    Hi @OK29

Meant to suggest, that if you have a way to repro it fairly often then leverage Monitor to track exactly what it did when you clicked the button.

Please follow these steps to look into Live Monitor for possible errors

    1. Please go to PowerApps.com in the environment published
    2. Please click the Apps menu option on the left
    3. Find your App in the list and Click the ... at the end
    4. Click Details ==> Live Monitor
    5. Once it opens up, click Play Published App
    6. When that Tab Opens, Play your App, Cause the issue
    7. Go back to Live Monitor Tab
    8. On the right side, click the Properties (its vertical) to open the right side window
    9. In the Filter (Top Right) Type Error
--See if you have any errors
--if so, please scroll through them, real errors cause 4 lines (usually) of errors
----one of the 4 lines will populate the Properties window with 4 Tabs

    10. Grab the Response Tab
    11. Expand the Headers and Body Sections
    12. See if you can share or understand the error

If this shows nothing please come back here.
