Multiselect lookups such as ActivityParty are still not available for normal customizations. Although, it has long been the intention of the product group to get there and the recent addition of polymorphic lookups gives me hope that soon we will have multiselect as well.

In the meantime, your only options for this are as follows:

    • Don't have it be a lookup--use an N:N relationship instead. This allows you to search, select multiple, and associate them pretty quickly and easily.
    • Use a multiselect optionset
    • Create a PCF to make an N:N relationship look like a multiselect

PCFs for Canvas Apps just recently hit GA, so I don't know of any out there in the community already that support this. Not to mention, in canvas app you could also just have a selectable gallery to accomplish the same thing without a PCF, so no surprise it isn't a big priority. If you want a multiselect pcf experience in canvas app, you'll probably have to do the customizations yourself to make it work.
