Power automate Flow Failed

Hello All

I'm a Power Automate developer working on a flow to trigger emails in Power BI. I'm facing a strange issue—my flow status shows "Failed," yet I'm still receiving emails. The error message states: "To cannot be null or empty." However, the "To" field is populated with email IDs from the Power BI dataset, and I've confirmed that there are no null values in the dataset or the "To" field itself.

I'm struggling to understand the root cause of this issue. Could this be a Power Automate glitch, or is there another factor at play? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi

From the runtime output, can you expand the Send an Email from a Shared Mailbox action and check what value is in the To: field.

Or add a compose action before the Send an Email from a Shared Mailbox. The compose action should contain the actual email address value used in the end an Email from a Shared Mailbox actionThen re-run the flow, if this is an option.

    Hi

When the To: field in the "Send an email from a shared mailbox (V2)" is null or empty, the To: field will be missing from the runtime output.

So, this does indicate the you have null or empty email values in your data set.

You can confirm this by adding a compose action containing the email property as shown below. Add the compose action before the "Send an email from a shared mailbox (V2)" action, and then examine the runtime output.

When viewing the runtime, make sure you cycle through all the failed items in the loop:
