Audit Log reports for Project for the web via Microsoft Purview

We need assistance in setting up the audit log reports via Microsoft Purview.

Our understanding is that Project for the web data is stored in the Dataverse.  The Dynamics 365 App used is the Microsoft Project Service.  We are not in a Dynamics 365 paid environment.

We need to retrieve the audit logs across various Project table entities in the default, sandbox and production environments.  Our current test to retrieve audits have been from the dataverse default and sandbox environments with the environment audit log settings being turned on for the whole default and sandbox environment plus a few audit entities like the Project and Project task tables being turned on - single/multiple.

When attempting to use the suggested new modern audit dashboard from the suggestion pop-up, we are sent to the old compliance dashboard which has reached end of life and an error prompt states that Microsoft has been notified.  We have also attempted to use Microsoft Purview, Audit module, with search criteria around Project for the web platform; activities, record type and workload with 0 results returned.  Many other search criteria have been tested with same result.  The licensing in our test across two live tenants include Project Plan 3 licenses and at least one Micrsoft E5 license, plus Power BI Pro licenses.  We also created a new Sandbox Environment and get the same results - 0.

Our main goal is to review changes to Project for the web cards / tasks by users with data and time stamps.  We have been searching the KB's for any material and have found nothing in regards to Microsoft Purview, Project for the Web, and Dataverse.
