Set checkbox state on web page

Hi Community,

I am very new to the Power automate application. Thank you in advanced for helping me with this question.

I hope to automate the process of checking the checkbox state on a web page whenever the information is indicated from the Excel spreadsheet. For example, on the web form, there are Next, close, Insert Tasks checkboxes, I would like to check the appropriate ones based on if the columns NEXT, CLOSE, and B-I have a 'X' for each record in Excel. How would I achieve this, perhaps a 'if statement' somewhere in the power automate workflow? Thank you!

    Possible to share HTML code for that specific DIV tag?

    Thanks,

    Hi @cwang18

    Yes, this is possible, I have several flows where I check more than 10 checkboxes on pages, all based on the flag in Excel.

    As you said - read excel data

    Use If and built in "checkbox" actions.

    For example "IF column A = 'X' set checkbox1 to checked ELSE set checkbox1 to unchecked"

    Thanks everyone! I have implemented a if statement and it works!

    hi everyone,

    may i ask a related question,

    i want to check 4 different checkboxes which reside inside a pop-out window. when i use the action 'Set check box state on web page', using this selector for 1 checkbox :

    > body label[Class="fd-checkbox__label fd-checkbox__label--compact"]:eq(1)
    label[Class="fd-checkbox__label fd-checkbox__label--compact"][Id^="label"]

    i find that it is not checking the label (check box) but only toggling it from the current state to another. is this a bug or am i missing something?
