I have a SharePoint list. This list is for Change Requests. I created a Power Automate script that triggers from this SharePoint list: Request Approval (Everyone Must Approve) Power Automate script.
- How do I add an approval status to the SharePoint list after the automation has ran? So the idea is, once the request is approved, it would automatically add "Approved" to that SharePoint list item in a column titled, "Approval status".
- Also, how do I add the Details of the Change Request and the Cost automatically to the Change Request so the person receiving the approval will see that information in their Email.
- Also, how do I add the Approvers from the "Approver" column to the approval request flow automatically so the User doesn't have to fill this in when they're sending the approval request.
The columns of data I have are:
- Title
- Requestor name
- Change Request number
- Date of Change Request
- Details of the Change Request
- Cost
- Approver
- Approval status
The way it is, I use the template PowerAutomate script for Request approvals and from the SharePoint list, you select the item in the list, then select the Automate menu option, then it shows the Power Automate option to request approval. From there, a form is displayed to fill in some basic information.
