SFTP Trigger not Triggering

Hi Everyone,

I have an issue with my SFTP Trigger. It isn't triggering. I know the connection is working because when I select a subfolder to trigger from, all the folders in that location are visible. I am triggering in the correct subfolder and just testing at the moment by dragging a file in but the trigger doesn't start at all. Please can someone assist.

Have tried on the root folder to see if it will trigger?

Check that first, please

SFTP triggers are polling-based, not real-time

They check the folder at intervals (e.g., every few minutes)

So the trigger may not fire immediately when you drop a file

@11manish thank you for the response. Yes I do understand this, I've been testing files over the last 2 hours

Hi @MichaelFP

I tried about 3 minutes ago and nothing has triggered yet. I dragged an excel file into the root folder after I changed the connector to look at the root. I now get this, but i'm ensure why because when I click the folder icon its able to read all the files and folders in the location meaning a connection is established. I update the connection by doing nothing and then it goes away again
