Hi All,
Power Apps is very slow , tried for first , tables keep loading always........
Any 1 starting power app journey...
Reporting nothing seem working in D365 ..poor performace
It has been painfully slow editing a canvas app lately, it disrupts productivity and timeline on projects. Maybe the new UI is affecting the performance. Clicking on one field will take a minute for the corresponding formula on the FX bar to show up. And it's like it is always loading something (there's a loading horizontal line always present at the top) and I don't know why.
Yes, I voted above suggestion. It is very very very (additional 10 times) painful to tell users that you ARE ABLE to open app in your cell phones.
Every changes takes 40 seconds.
@microsoft please fix this. As it is very painfull to work with the new UI.
We're in NZ and once you get "behind the UI" to try to make development or config changes to anything that's based on PowerApps (eg: Dynamics 365) it is really slow and lag-ridden. It's been this way right from the beginning of 365 for us. Our local reseller is a Microsoft Gold Partner and they haven't got any options for us - that's just the way it is.
I just clicked the "Advanced Settings" option in our Dynamics 365 production environment as an example and gave up after 4 minutes of white screen. I've been hoping for a local Microsoft tenant, but don't think this is really in their top priorities still. The apps work properly and without huge lag, but making any changes is pain.
I'm facing this slow issue when going to some part of the settings. It takes forever just to go to legacy settings. 15 minutes after repeatedly F5, Ctrl + F5, closing browser & clear cache, then another slow part is where I go to Settings > Security > Teams. That also takes another forever time.
Yet with all of these, we're counting on them because it's the future of the workflow & apps in Office 365. SharePoint workflow is no longer there, MS promoting them badly. Really?
In most occasions, slowness will be perceived by the amount of time an action takes to return control to the user. You could try and use the concurrent function wherever possible to speed loading times. I recently posted a video that covers its usage in more detail -
Hi @AnupamParti ,
To improve the performance in PowerApps, you could refer to below documentations for details:
