Missing Approvals on Mobile

Hi,

I've created an approval flow that is triggered when a new SharePoint item is created.

When I put myself as approver on the SharePoint form, I get the notification on my mobile phone, & I can approve there. I can also approve online.

Curious thing though is that when I select someone else in my organization as approver, they get the notification on their mobile phone, but cannot approve from within the app. The approval centre on the app shows that there are no pending approvals for the person. However, this person can approve the request online.

What could be the issue here?

Which version is your Microsoft Flow mobile app on approver’s side?

Which OS is the approvers’ mobile device?

I have made a test on my side and don’t have the issue that you mentioned. The OS of my mobile device is iOS 9.3 and the version of Microsoft Flow mobile app is 2.24.0 (latest version).

Please check if others in your organization have updated the version of Microsoft Flow to latest version, if not, please update the version to latest version and check if the issue is solved.

I have the same problem. Once I switch to other people's account, the approval details cannot show up properly. IOS App version 2.25.0

I think it's by-design, the flow approver must have permission to access the environment that the flow sit-in. The requester need to share the enviornment to approver first. I think the requirement is fair, without enviornment access approver should not get approval request at all. But why he can get mobile notification or email is another question.
