Changing the BU of a User throws error

Version 1612 (9.0.2.193) (DB 9.0.2.189) online

 

Steps to reproduce:

 

  1. Go to a User record
  2. Click Change Business Unit
  3. If needed create a new BU and select it
  4. Following error is thrown:

    Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: System.Web.HttpUnhandledException (0x80004005): Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> Microsoft.Crm.CrmException: The entity with a name = 'Resource' with namemapping = 'Platform' was not found in the MetadataCache. This is because the Resource entity is not present in CDS (correct) and that the change BU code is referring to it (bug).
