Hi,

I am trying to build copilot agent using MCP server. At one of the stage I would want to generate MS Teams notification for manager approval without using power automate.

once notification sent to the manager need to wait for the response and once receive the response then proceed for further steps.

I am not finding proper solution to achieve this requirement.

Can anyone please provide me the solution.

You generally can’t do “Teams notification + wait for manager approval + resume” purely inside an MCP/Copilot agent without Power Automate—the agent doesn’t have a built-in asynchronous human‑in‑the‑loop/wait mechanism.
