How to access Dataverse in different/external environment

Good evening

I am curious: how do I access a Dataverse which is in another, maybe even external environment?

To be specific: I want to have a very simple, model-driven PowerApp in environment A connect to Dataverse in Environment B by using the default Dataverse connector.

The documentation states that the connector "provides access to the org-based database on Microsoft Dataverse in current environment.".

So it seems like this is not possible.

Or is there a workaround?

Thanks

    @Petem33 I'm curious to know why you want to multiplex a model driven app in one environment to connect to Dataverse in another environment?

    One option to consider might be Virtual Tables potentially? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/developer/data-platform/virtual-entities/get-started-ve

    Thanks for your reply @parvezghumra. I checked out Virtual Tables already, thanks - but since they do not support field level security, I was looking for a different solution. Also, it states that "You can't use the OData v4 Data Provider to connect to another environment." - I havent tried it though.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    @Petem33

    If you need field-level security, I believe the only option is to create a custom table and sync the data from the other environment with a cloud flow using Microsoft Dataverse (legacy) connector
