Which AI Model for QR Code?

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a project where I need to read QR codes embedded in PDF documents using Power Automate. I’m looking for the best AI model or solution to achieve this.

So far, I’ve tried the “Extract custom information from documents” model, but it doesn’t allow for the selection of QR codes. I’ve also experimented with other models, but none have worked for my needs.

Does anyone have recommendations or insights on which AI model or approach is effective for reading QR codes in PDFs within Power Automate?

@charlesdgcharle Hi Charles, I don't think there is a specific AI model that does what you want. You have 'object detection' which can actually recognise the existence of a QR code but this AI model doesn't open the actual QR code content.. Very unfortunate 😞

I don't believe there is an AI model, rather an in-built control with Canvas Power Apps - Barcode reader control in Power Apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn
