
When I start my free trial on power apps, I found this message (we're sorry we weren't able to start your trial, please try again).

You will need to use a work or school account in order to start a trial license (see Microsoft Docs). Should you be using a work or school account, the administrator still has the possibility to block users from starting such a license.
In this case, it would be worth checking with your administrator whether they have disabled self-service trial licenses.
