Hi,
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the 'Get multiple goals' action in Power Automate?
We have used this action for a while, but it recently stopped working for me (I know it is Preview).
The other Power BI actions work fine for me.
I let the flow run, and I get this error:
I think this issue might be related to the Move scorecard preview feature.
After moving a scorecard from one environment to another, the flow seems to fail. If I create a copy of the scorecard, the flow runs as expected.
Or maybe not.
Now I keep getting Internal
Is anyone else experiencing the same?
Same here. Following to see if someone has a solution.
@pjosifovic I found a workaround using the Run a query against a dataset action.
I built a tabel in Power BI with the data that I need and copied the DAX query, which I can use in my flow. It is not as dynamic as my previous solution as you need the Dataset ID of the dataset related to the scorecard (maybe you can get the dynamically but I don't know). In my case, I could create an array of the datasets (scorecards) that I need to loop through, where I normally would use the Get scorecards action. But again, that is also a preview action.
I also reported this to Microsoft Support, so they are aware of the issue.

Hey! Seeing the same thing. If I create a scorecard in its own environment it seems to work fine, but if I target a Copy of a scorecard, moved or not, it times out on internal server. Any solution to this ever emerge?
Not that I am aware of. I gave up on the Microsoft Support case and used the workaround mentioned above instead.
When the connector goes GA I expect it to be fixed.
I actually managed to get a similar solution to work last night by just running a query directly on the scorecard dataset with the method other people have recommended with compose --> parse JSON. However, when generating the schema it hit a roadblock where the sample schema was looking for an integer so I had to go in, find all the integers and type Number instead. That let the dataset pass successfully.
Strangely enough, when I tried to pass the goal ID to Get a Goal, I had the same problem, but when I just changed it to Update a Goal it worked just fine! Gotta love a preview feature...
