Tracking a package

I will assume that there is not a way for Power Apps to connect to a Web API service to get the status of a mailed package automatically?  I did see there is an idea for it, but that was entered 5 years ago.  I have an app that the user enters package tracking numbers but needs to check the actual UPS or USPS sites to get the current information.

Yes, you can connect a Power App to an API. The two most common ways are through a custom connector, or using a Power Automate flow to return results to the app. Have a peek at a blog I did on this topic.

    Hope that helps,

    Bryan

You should be able to do it with a PowerAutomate Flow. Try this link:

Direct integration with UPS and USPS: Explore the possibility of integrating your app directly with the UPS and USPS systems. This integration would enable your app to fetch real-time tracking information without requiring users to visit external websites. APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) provided by UPS and USPS tracking  can facilitate this integration.
