Hello,

I am new here, and I am trying to display a field with a "record" type data. --> "Created by"

And I got the error below:

ff.pngee.pngdd.png

I am not sure what does change the rule to product a {0} value mean. I would like to display the result.

Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi @charlene

    CreatedBy is a complex type column

    Use ThisItem.'Created By'.DisplayName

    or ThisItem.'Created By'.Email or other properties which are available

    Regards,

    Reza Dorrani

    Hello,
    You can use Text(), for example.
    createdDate:Text(Now(),DateTimeFormat.LongDateTime ),lastModifiedDate:Text(Now(),DateTimeFormat.LongDateTime)

    If you want to show the createdBy or LastModifiedBy you use like it below.
    createdBy:User().FullName,lastModifiedBy:User().FullName.

    or Text(Thisitem.CreatedBy)

    Thanks & Regards,
    Prajyot Mahindrakar.

    Hey Reza,

    I hope you are good. Thanks for sharing the great knowledge of power apps , I always enjoy your videos. I am trying to replicate the combo box that you suggested in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPM0Q53L3sE but somehow I am not able to find my column name after CmbSystemAccess.Selected "Concat(CmbSystemAccess.Selected,"Column name", "; ")". Instead of Column name, the only option I am seeing is "This Item.Column name". I tried to add .Value and .Selected Items but after ".", there are no other property showing up and error is still there. Can you please let me know how can I pass thought this obstacle ?

    Hello,

    I have the same issue, but my field is populated from a Choice drop down list selection. How can I display the value recorded using Text Input?

    Regards,

    BK
