cannot delete column from dataverse table

I am trying to delete several columns from a Dataverse table in a SOlution i created in my Dev environment. I go to the table, Columns, select the columns and select Remove and then delete from this environment for each column. I then get the message "Are you sure...". I say yes, and the dialog goes away.

Problem is the columns do not go away. THey are still there. I have done this over and over a dozen times over the last day. I cannot delete columns anymore.

ANyone have any clue why ?

You were correct. It was in a View. I do not like the new look to Tables. Previously, you would get a warning about trying to delete a column with dependencies. Now it looks like it is deleting, no warning, but it does not delete.

Have you verified dependencies of the columns in relationships / forms / etc.? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/view-component-dependencies
