Form Processor Component - Analyse image loaded from cloud

Hi all,

I'm looking into the form processing AI and the component to see what we can do with it, and I just have a question

Say I'm using the app on desktop with the Form Processor component in the app.

I click "Analyse", and the file explorer pops up, asking for a file to analyse

Is it at all possible to get the image from a different location? For example, could it analyse an image from a URL?

I know I can use the model in a Flow which might give me what I'm looking for, but it's also nice to see the bounding boxes and a visual representation of the model's confidence

I hope that made sense. In essence, does the image have to be uploaded from the local device? Or can I access images in some other way?

You can create a Power Apps and use the form recognizer control.

This would display the bounding boxes and you could access the content from an URL.

    Hi @CedrickB,

Could you clarify how I would do that?

I can't seem to make sense of how I might do it from the properties

    Thanks!

Looks like I didn't understood your ask properly.

You can only get the content from your phone pictures or local storage.

Unfortunatelly, there is not even a workaround I could see to take an URL as input.

    Ah, okay, thanks @CedrickB

Unfortunate, but it is what it is!
