Populate Text Field Not Populating

Hi,

I have the below action in my flow which isn't failing but isn't populating the data either so something seems to be up.

The weird thing is I have a very similar step which is populating a text field correctly in the step above for the 'IF' part of the IF statement, whenever the flow runs to the 'ELSE' statement, all the steps work such as click link on webpage but the text fields just are not populating with the data, but again no error either.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi @Shaunbuckleyy12

It could be because of the Selector issue, I suggest to recheck that and try again

Also, with the limited information it is hard to identify the issue, if you share your selector of the element it would be great

Hi @Srini007 ,

Appreciate the response but I don't think it is a selector issue as I was getting a problem with that yesterday due to it changing the id each time the page reloaded so I changed it to a constant selector which is the same one as the selector in the first action.

Should I perhaps use a different identifier? This is the one I am using for the selector that is not populating the data.

If it didn't find the element, it would throw an error, so I assume it finds it. But you can always test it via the Test button in the selector editor.

Are you sure that %CurrentItem['First Name']% is not empty?

After playing around with it, I realized that the ID number wasn't changing for those fields so I actually didn't need to edit the text editor in the selector.
