In Advanced Find in the modern UI (new look),
- Create an AF query on any table (Account for example)
- Add a related table (ex: Currency)
- Add two filter fields (ex: created by and created on)
- Group them together
- Add a 3rd filter field to the group created in step 4 - NOTE that the list of fields is from the parent (account) table, not the currency table.
Workaround
At step #3, add all your filter fields there before grouping them, or ungroup them to add the fields, and re-group them when you are done.
I am using 2024 Release Wave 1, Server version: 9.2.24082.00192, Client version: 1.4.9104-2408.2
Given that this is just a minor platform bug (not a security issue), is there a better place to post this where someone at Microsoft Dynamics team will get it?
