After Friday's issues with the Copilot Studio service, my agent no longer works in Microsoft Teams. After removing and re-adding it, the prompts no longer work in Teams. My other agent seems unaffected. Any idea why this particular agent won't work in Teams? I'm able to run the TEST in the Overview section, but when I run Evaluate, the expected response fails for all. Any guidance on how to fix these issues? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi there, thanks for sharing the details - happy to help.

Since the agent works in Test but fails in Teams/Evaluate, this usually points to the Teams channel running older content or a channel/config mismatch rather than the agent logic itself. A few things to check, based on Microsoft Learn:

    • Republish the agent. Test in the Overview pane runs your latest authoring content, but Teams serves the last published version. Any changes (including the remove/re-add) require a fresh publish. As Learn notes, publishing applies to all connected channels, and if you make changes without publishing, customers won't be engaging with the latest content.
    • Verify configurations and authentication. Confirm agent settings, authentication options, and the Teams channel configuration are all set up correctly before publishing.
    • Check dependencies. Make sure required topics, flows, connectors, and data sources are all available and properly configured - a broken dependency often surfaces only in the live channel.
    • Review the Publish page error logs. Open the Publish page and check the publish status for specific error codes/messages to pinpoint the root cause.
    • Re-connect the channel. After republishing, reconnect/reconfigure the Teams channel so the latest published agent is the one being served.

@RaghavMishra, Question: If it's being shared across Teams, when I remove it from Teams, relaunch, and add it back, does it update for all the Shared users?
