If this is not the right forum for this question - can you please direct me to the correct forum.

i have built an add-in project using Yo targeting Word.

I would like to add to be able to write a function that fetches the workflow status from a sharepoint document library (which has workflow/versioning enabled obviously), and allow the user to actually set a workflow status back to share point for the given document.

Is anyone aware whether this can be done and are there api documentation around this? or better yet - any examples i can follow?
