Hi all,

I've created a simple flow to send an email when a file in a communication sharepoint site is created/updated in the Shred Folder of the Documents collection.

When i try to test the flow, after i create a file in the shared folder (either in the root dir or a subfolder) the flow test page refresh, but the trigger is grayed and show the "Skipped" message.

Why the trigger isn't triggered?

    Hi @lucacox,

Thanks for sharing the detailed screenshot. I have made a simple test on my side.

The flow is triggered by When a file is created in a folder, and the library is located on a communication SharePoint site.

Then when I upload a file to the folder, the flow can be triggered and email can be sent out.

Could you please try again with it? if you are still having the issue, please feel free post back.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao

    Hi @v-yamao-msft,

    thank you for the reply.

I've tryed with "When a file is created in a Folder", it works, but only for the specified folder and not for sub-folders... If I use "Created or Modified" it still does not work.

What is the recommended way to create a flow that send a notification email when a file is created/updated in a folder or in one of its sub-folders?

    thank you,

    luca
