How to update a choice field using a button

Hello!

I wonder if someone can help me please! I have a submit for approval button on a read only form. When the user clicks it, I want the Status "Draft" to update to "Submit for Approval". I've found this formula which should work BUT it doesn't recognise ThisItem for some reason. Any ideas? I've tried to insert the button into FormViewer in case that was the issue but it always inserts as part of the screen itself.

Hi @RMD211 ,

You can add a button into a DataCard in a form , but can not add a button into a form directly.

Thanks! That seems to work for what I need it to after I've added a datacard that I don't need users to see, set Visible to false and changed the displaymode to edit and the buttons work inside that.
