I was wondering if the teams integration was made available to custom model driven apps as well. I am able to turn on these two features under collaboration. I also turned on the 'Turn on Microsoft Teams chats inside Power Apps' feature for my custom app, but I am not able to see the chat feature in my app or change any settings anywhere else.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

I was wondering the same, when this will be available.

This feature was listed under 2022 release wave 2 at the beginning of February which was the last time I checked. This was the link to that page Use Teams Chat with Others but now it's gone and the feature is nowhere to be found.

Does anyone know if this idea was scrapped or just postponed?

I'm Trying also to activate the feature to a classic model driven app (Not D365) but I couldn't find a way.

@HEDI_BK you will have to satisfy yourself that you have correct licencing etc for the features, but what you can try is the following in your model driven app

    • Get the URL of your app and remove everything after the appid guid
    • to the end of add  &pagetype=control&controlName=MscrmControls.DigitalSales.DigitalSales

    e.g. https://org4545454.crm6.dynamics.com/main.aspx?appid=<yourappguid here>&pagetype=control&controlName=MscrmControls.DigitalSales.DigitalSales

When/if that control loads, under the Microsoft Teams Collaboration click the "Quick Setup" if the items displayed in the setup are not set on - turn them on.  After it has saved, clear the browser cache <ctrl><f5>

(this is the only way I could get it to work for non-Sales apps)
