Dataflow error while copying data from SharePoint List to Dataverse for a multi-select choice field

Hello Everyone,

 

I have a multi-select choice column created in my Dataverse table. I am moving data from SharePoint List to this dataverse table. I have created a dataflow to move the data. I am getting an error while pushing multiple values to this multi-selection field in dataverse.

 

I am moving choice codes instead of the text values. These choice codes are taken from dataverse multi-select choice column. Still I get an error with the dataflow.

 

Does anyone has any suggestion here please? Is there a way we can raise ticket to Microsoft for help?

    Your issue is most likely caused by the format being sent to the Dataverse multi-select choice column.

    Even though you are using the correct option codes, Dataverse expects:
    • Comma-separated numeric option values
    like:

    100000001,100000002

    —not arrays, semicolon-delimited values, SharePoint choice objects, or labels.

    If the formatting is already correct and the Dataflow still fails, then this is likely a limitation/bug in the Dataflow connector, and raising a Microsoft support ticket is appropriate.
