New to PowerApps, would like to ask for help!

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for some directions on an app that I am creating for my team. I am new to the Power Apps but would love to do well on this task, and I came up with the plan what the app should do but not exactly sure how to create it.

My plan is to create a system, where I can log in every Monday morning and forecast my availability for the next 2-3 weeks (same for the team members). The granularity should be very high level and the task should not take more than 5 minutes to do. I am planning to create dropdowns with text and numeric values and after submitting, this data should be saved and be accessible to my manager (I am guessing, I will connect it to an Excel sheet and the data will have "initials", week nr., week1, week2, week3 and timeofsubmit).

Once it was submitted, I should also be able to add a new record but all the latest records should be kept either within the app or Excel sheet.

Also, if no response was received from a member of the Team before Monday noon, I am planning to send out a reminder through Power Automate.

The above mentioned functions all sound well in theory but I am not exactly sure if starting with the Canvas app is a good idea in this case or even if it is possible. Any help, videos, step-by-step guides and explanations are appreciated!
