Power Apps App Cannot Be Reopened After Using Grid Table Control (Version 3.26044.14)

After switching the Power Apps version to 3.26044.14, I used the new Grid Table control to complete development of my app. The app was saved successfully without any errors.

However, after exiting the app and attempting to reopen it for editing, the app can no longer be opened in edit mode. It appears to be stuck or fails to load entirely in the editor.

Steps to Reproduce:

Switch Power Apps version to 3.26044.14

Use the Grid Table control in the app

Complete development and save the app

Close Power Apps Studio

Reopen the app in edit mode

Expected Result:
The app should reopen normally and allow further editing.

Actual Result:
The app fails to open in edit mode after saving and exiting.

Impact:
This issue blocks further development and maintenance of the app.

Additional Notes:

The issue started only after using the new Grid Table control under this version.

No errors were shown during saving.

I checked the same Power Apps version with the Grid Table control and was able to save, close, and reopen the app in edit mode successfully. This may indicate the issue is app-specific or related to another control/configuration.

You can try removing the Grid Table control temporarily, testing another app version, or checking if any other recently added control is causing the issue.

Hi @hyl99130,

I checked my verions, same as yours:

Added DataGrid table and mapped a datasource

Ran the app and performed searched operations:

Ran the App

Closed the app 40 seconds ago (Modified)

Closed the App studio, plus closed the browse also

Came back after 4 mintues later to reopen the app (in edit mode)

I could open up the app in edit mode
I didn’t’ face any issue.

To narrow down the problem in our case, can you please avoid using the Grid Table control and open up the app?

Besides keep monitoring for Power Apps Studio updates addressing this problem. Also, consider reverting to an earlier Power Apps version or removing the Grid Table control if possible (if any other control causing this issue or not) .

In my POV three things we can do now:

Try opening the app in a different browser or clear your browser cache to rule out local caching issues.

Check if you have a backup or previous version of the app before adding the Grid Table control, and consider restoring it.

Report the error and session ID to Microsoft Support for deeper investigation.
