Git version control with multiple apps

We have multiple apps which are being developed in the same env, and we recently enabled Git version control on one of them.  For the others, the option is turned off in the experimental menu.  When I turn on the option to show the Git control, it's already populated with the information from the first app we connected to Git.  However, the second app still maintains version control using the traditional PowerApps interface.  I'm slightly concerned with issues arising from the fact that the repo from App 1 is being listed in App 2, and also we would like to turn on Git for each app with their own repo eventually.

Is there a workaround for this, or is it a bug that is already reported?

Thanks!
