Hi Experts,
I am working with trying to utilize the editable grid in Dynamics 365. Example utilizing on the activities view. The "My Tasks" view is setup by default to order by "Due Date". As soon as I group by another field, it loses the primary sort of the view. Example is when I group by Priority, it does not respect the Due Date sorting.
Please see below as example and you can see the sort reverts to the Group By field. I can then click on the Due Date and it will sort appropriately within the Group but it requires me to click the additional button.
with group by

Thanks for any assistance!
this sounds like a bug to me. I recommend opening a support ticket. There is nothing you can do to change this behavior yourself. BTW there are some other editable grid PCF controls that you can use in place of the OOTB one. on pcf.gallery
One of them is smart grid https://nijoscrmworld.wordpress.com/2020/01/27/smart-grid-pcf/
