Agent unable to read/analyse document

I have a Teams/CoPilot based Agent that I am trying to use to analyse documents and match proposals to my business units. The general copilot chat (non agent) can read and analyse any PDF/Doc that I upload but the agent cannot. Any help would be much appreciated.

    General Copilot can read uploaded files because they’re part of the chat context.

    Copilot Studio agents cannot read uploaded files unless they are explicitly passed via an AI Prompt or stored as a Knowledge source. This is a platform limitation, not a bug.
