Subject says it all really - this behaviour seems to have been around a while, but it's really quite pronounced this evening.
I have a gallery on screen 1 - when selecting an item it goes to screen 2 where I have an edit form showing the item selected in screen 1. If I return to screen 1 without editing anything and select another item from the gallery, the Editform sceen appears with the old item for almost three seconds before updating to the new item.
This is really unnerving.
I've tried resetting the form, changing it's mode, using the onreset function of the form to reset the gallery, and the form...nothing seems to work. Is there a cache somewhere at work? How can I ensure subsequent changes to the Gallery.Selected item are the only entry to show up in the edit form?

Hi @ RusselThomas,
There are many reasons that an app can be slow to load, slow to respond, and slow to write to data sources.
If your app feels sluggish there is often a lot you can do yourself to make it more reactive, even though the root of the problem may have to do with the way PowerApps is designed.
Maybe this can be of help:
