Hi,

For one of the users, the Machine settings is not visible in Power Automate Desktop client.

User has 2.15.284.21354 version of Power Automate Desktop and he is logged in using work email id.

Can someone guide on how to get the machines settings visible.

Thanks,

Shweta

    Hi @Anonymous ,

I am not sure about your problem but could you check your apps whether you have Power Automate-Machine runtime installed?

If it is installed, then sign in.

Hi @Anonymous, looks like the user does not have a license, that is why the Machine settings option is not available.

@PetrosF-MSFT are you sure?? Because I am facing the same problem. But in my case, I am using the same id for two different laptops. One is for my personal laptop and another is on my office laptop. On my office laptop machine settings are there but on personal laptop they are not there(same case as above). So, I dont think its the problem of license.

Which version of Windows is it?

So, I found one thing in task manager. On my personal laptop the UIFlowService is not even visible, but on my office laptop, the UIFlowService is running. This UIFlowService is needed for machines.

The UIFlowService is the service that is configured using the Machine settings.  You may still see the Machine Settings under Settings even if the service isn't installed and running.  Seeing the Machine Settings under Settings is dependent on whether you are logged into Power Automate Desktop with a Work or School account or a Microsoft account.  You won't see machine settings unless its an Office 365/Dynamics 365 account.
