URL with spaces not working

When passing a URL to PAD Chrome or Edge in a Launch new Crome/Edge and the URL has spaces in it then the Browser launches with more than one tab and the parts of the URL for each. This also happens if the url has been encoded with the %20.

example URLS https://mysite.com/download  this file/filename.ext

I have also tried https://mysite.com/download%%20this%%20file/filename.ext

the same happens if I try and pass the same values in a variable.

this seems to have started happening after the last PAD update.

I have the same question (0)

Try using Run application to run chrome.exe and pass the URL to the arguments field.

Then use Launch new Chrome, but change it to attach to a running instance, instead of launching a new one.

I use this anyway since way before the latest update, as it is more stable. Simply launching Chrome via Launch new Chrome tends to fail sometimes simply because the extension doesn't load in time. The approach above has never failed me since 2020 on various machines I've deployed it on.
