Hi, the following error messages are preventing me from publishing my agent:

Due to a recent data loss prevention policy change, some issues are preventing your agent from working correctly. Download the file to review the error details and contact your admin.

You need to configure at least one channel (for example, Teams) due to recent DLP policy changes. Contact your admin with questions.

Some channel settings aren't available due to your organization's data loss prevention policies. Contact your admin with questions.

Could you please help? I do not know who the admin is at our company.

Hi @VS-19022001-0,

Thanks for sharing the downloaded DLP error file it shows why publishing is failing.

Your agent can’t be published because the “Direct Line channels in Copilot Studio” connector is blocked by DLP. The file lists DLP error type: “Connector blocked” for the Direct Line channel subcomponent.

Blocking policies (both apply):

“Block copilot Studio Publishing” (Policy ID: 7d0d0956-a082-4aab-b925-d68fe48a1262)

“DefaultEnvironment” (Policy ID: 48c191ea-2f22-47a2-9520-16cafa5d9b8e)

Because multiple DLP policies can apply and the most restrictive outcome wins, the connector remains blocked until it’s allowed in all applicable policies.

What needs to change (admin action):

Update the DLP policy/policies to allow at least one Copilot Studio channel connector. Minimum options:

Unblock “Direct Line channels in Copilot Studio” in both policies, or

If Direct Line should remain blocked, allow another channel connector (e.g., Teams + M365 Channel) so the agent can be published to Teams.

Once at least one channel connector is allowed, publishing will work again.
