I am a systems administrator that routinly will log into Azure and go to AAD to check the sign-in logs to specific locations.
I thought, hey maybe I can get desktop power automate to open the logs for me? Simple enough, right? LOL, not for Microscrap. I tried this in both Chrome and Edge. Edge has a nice feature to ask me what account I want to use (I have more than one Azure/O365 account). Desktop Power Automate has NO clue how to handle selecting a specific account and log in.
So, failure #1. Move on, try Chrome, it didnt ask about accounts and went straight into the account I needed, which for this instance was acceptable. I orginally recorded the event or right clicking chrome from the taskbar and opening a new chrome windows. That fought me in several ways. A simple thing as this and it failed. Finally got it to open a new Chrome Browser where it went and clicked it's way throught to the logs. Regardless.. long story short... there was NO WAY, I could get this scrap solution, with any sort of ease to open the sign in logs and set it to a specific LOCATION. Add filter > Location. Then fill it with what was needed.
Needless to say, another hour wasted to a product that can't keep up with both security changes in browsers (oAuth account selection) and simple browser interactions. I thought it was funny how you couldn't even test from a step as it had no clue about the browser it previously opened and worked with.
Yeah, try this again in a year if I have time to abuse myself again. Can't wait to have a platform that truly can automate simple task that doesn't require a PhD to accomplish.
