Hi
I am a co-owner of multiple canvas apps, "inherited" from a colleague who left the organization. Everything has been working fine, but I have now realized that I am unable to share one of the many apps and I don't understand why.
I am co-owner and able to edit the app, but when opening the share panel and trying to add any user, the share button is disabled/greyed out. I have tried a different browser and tried sharing in incognito mode.
The only difference between this app and other apps where sharing seems to be working fine is a connection which gives some sort of a warning. The warning message appears when opening the sharing panel, but quickly disappears. I managed to take a screen shot of it and it says something about a connection that is implicitly shared. The connection is "SMTP" which I'm not sure is used anywhere in the app any longer, but I do not wish to delete it as of now.
Any suggestions? Please help
I was having the same issue, but found following the steps below gave me a way to share the app. The issue appears to be the app has a connection that will be Implicitly Shared. In order to allow it to be shared, you have to click on a "Confirm" button to a short-lived popup message, "Sharing this app implicitly shares at least one connection..." (Image 2). This message only appears for 1-2 seconds and the button must be clicked within the first second or it won't work.
Steps to Share App:
Good Luck! It took me so many times to get this just right.
Try opening the app in edit mode and publishing. I was having the same problem and following a publish was then able to share.
dear sir,
I am also facing the same issue. Can you please help what I need to check as share button is disabled for co-owner.
After a bit of research on where this connection was used, i decided to remove the connection and the flow that was using it. After publishing the app again, sharing seemed to be working as it should.
