SetFocus() no longer works with updated modern controls

The updated modern controls no longer work with SetFocus().

No mention of it in the notes: Recent modern control updates in canvas apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

This makes it impossible to meet our accessibility obligations, I'm suprised it hasn't been spoken about anywhere?

Yes you are correct and there have been a couple of other posts I have seen about this recently. Modern Controls are still evolving and in the recent update on changes made that you mention, you will see a reference to this in Controls with available updates, although this probably does not fully explain the extent of it.
Text Input Updates to Text Input OnChange on focus out only, TriggerOutput default = Keypress, View mode truly read-only

The easiest solution is to use a Classic Control, which supports TabIndex and Focus.

    Hi @WarrenBelz

I think thats only referring to the text inputs OnChange() event firing when the modern text input is focused out of which brings it inline with the classic text input.

I was hoping for an official acknowledgement/mention somewhere of the SetFocus() function no longer supporting these updated modern controls so I know if this is a bug or an intentional limitation moving forward as it will affect many of our apps and components.

@CU24032331-0 thank you for reporting this issue. This is a bug in the new modern controls, and it will be fixed in an upcoming release.
