Power Apps – Flows with Power Apps (V2) trigger not showing in “Add flow” dialog

Hello Community,

Can someone help with this:

When trying to add flows to my app, newly created flows using the PowerApps(V2) trigger do not appear in the PowerApps Studio “Addflow” list, while older flows (2–3weeks or older) do. All flows and apps are in the same environment, owned by me, and turnedon. Neither the app or the flows are part of the solution.

Thank you for helping!

Did you create the Flow while in the current Power Apps session, or before this ? Also confirm the Flow is turned on and in the same Environment as the App. I assume that your are the owner of the Flow.

As best practice you should create a new flow by clicking Add flow from the PowerApps studio. If you have created the flow outside PowerApps studio check if you are the owner of the flow.

    HI @Gilmour1,

When you create a flow without specifying a name, Power Automate automatically generates one. and it remains fixed, even if you later rename the flow. As a result, the app sometimes continues to reference the original auto generated name. To resolve this, you often need to create a copy of the flow with the correct name, attach it to the app.

A quick follow-up to see if you received the answer you were looking for. Happy to assist further if not.
