Canvas App - intermittently reporting read-only/Patch

Hi

I have built an app for multiple users, who report

"network error when using Patch function The specified column is read-only and can't be modified" when attempting to save data in a form, however when they refresh the page, and try again the error disappears - the columns aren't read-only or required.  I'm finding it really difficult to resolve - does anyone have any ideas why this occurs and where I can start to diagnose what's happening?

Thanks

    hey @BPI2020

did u check if you/or the users have the right permission for the datasource?

Thanks for your reply - Yes - all users have the right permissions and none of the columns are read-only.  I'm stumped.

    Which datasource are u using?

    Sharepoint list <200 rows

I have a front page with some dropdown boxes used as filters on the second screen with an editform.

i guess you put Submitform(Formname) in your submit button?!

what you can also try is to set up a new sharepoint list. when you create a new list you can choose "from existing list" and choose the one u already have (at least the columns are there). Then delete the old lost from the connection and try it with the new one.

Let me know if my answer helped solving your issue.

If it did please accept as solution and give it a thumbs up so we can help others in the community.
