Copilot Studio’s strict validation

It's increasingly difficult to test anything in Copilot Studio before pushing to prod because the strict validation in chat.

Example: I want use Adaptive Cards in my Teams chat. Teams has NO PROBLEM with this but I can't test it in Studio first because of JSON-Defined code. Really makes me nervous about pushing to prod.
I have the same question (0)

    hello,

Could you provide some sample, adaptive card work inside the studio dev env.

Anyway if you'r worried about difference between "dev & prod". In the "dev world" there is something called ALM : application life cycle management. IT pro don't go to prod directly. They make agent in an environnement with a logicial name like "developpement env xxxx" created with the "sandbox" catégory. Work in the studi or push in teams. And then when apps , agent, etc are ok, we "dupplicate" the solution to another environnement "production" created in the tag "production" : this way the agent in dev (and the one from dev in teams) is not the same as the prod one (it's common IT pro best practise for anything related to dev, not only agent).

If you wan't to know more about "solution" (tech part used to package agent and move to new env) i strongly recommand have a look at this full tutorial on copilot studio provided by both microsoft and community :)

Hope this help, if yes please mark the checkbox answer as answered :) it's important for the community and search engine :)

Did you even read the original question? What the heck does ALM have to do with this? It's a problem with the test harness in Copilot not allowing Adaptive Cards or any other JSON so you have to publish to Teams to try it.

Are you just farming for points or something? Why would you ask me to mark it answered if you haven't even read the issue?
