Bug report 404 error flow checker

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by Microsoft Employee
I am currently building a flow for a manager starting with a Manual trigger followed by an excel export and then run a prompt via LLM.

The problem is the following: when I try to run the agent the flowchecker tells me that there is a problem.

When i then press the link in the picture below 'how to turn this flow on' I get hit by a 404 error .

Could anybody point me to the right service desk or then person in charge o hwo to fox this? i would highly appreciate it!

Kind regards,
L

    Hi,

The 404 is a "not found" error. What is the exact trigger and contents for this flow? In case you have provided an Excel sheet as reference, can you check the the file name is correct or if the file has been moved? Or maybe another action has a wrong URL/link?

The “how to turn this flow on” link in the flow checker sometimes points to an outdated or broken (404) Microsoft Docs page.
    What you can do:
    For the 404 error:
    • You don’t need to fix the link itself; it’s a Microsoft documentation bug.
    • You can report this broken link via the Power Platform support page or by using the feedback button on the Docs site.
    For the flow checker problem:
    • Review the error message in the flow checker for details about what’s preventing the flow from being turned on (e.g., missing connections, permissions, or configuration issues).
    • Make sure all connectors (Excel, LLM, etc.) are properly authenticated and configured.
    • If you need help with the specific flow error, share the exact error message or screenshot (excluding sensitive info).

To turn on your flow, follow these steps:
Go to Power Automate portal: Open https://flow.microsoft.com and sign in with the account that owns the flow.
Find your flow: In the left-hand menu, click My flows. Locate the flow you created (manual trigger → Excel export → LLM prompt).
Turn it on: If the flow is off, you’ll see a “Turn on” button next to it. Click Turn on to enable the flow.
Verify connections: Open the flow and check each step’s connection (Excel, any connectors, LLM). Make sure all connections are authenticated; otherwise, the flow may fail.
Run a test: Use the Test button in the top-right of the flow editor. Choose Manually and follow the prompts to ensure it executes successfully.

Both links and excel file link are completely right there is no error message on screen I can post both are completely configured and working in singular. This is not helpful guys this was working 4 weeks ago and now it is broken. the 404 is the only error message i get otherwise the button is just greyed out. I have a customer meeting in 2 weeks on this poduct and it is not working at all. Also why is there no support button ? This is a customer facing poduct.

    Hi Lennart,

You are now providing contradicting information. In your question, you mentioned that you are currently building a flow. Now you mention that it was working 4 weeks ago. Can you tell us how the flow ended up in being not enabled?
Was this agent flow copied from another environment? Any additional information might be helpful to understand what might happened during the last 4 weeks and find the root cause of the error.

You can also try to create a support ticket for Microsoft Support. The Power Platform Admin Center has a section for Support: Support requests | Power Platform admin center
