I am getting the above error while creating a customised form through Power Apps. I am unable to find out the root cause. Please advise.
The only thing I can think of is that your sharepoint connection is bad. (which is pretty obvious) I would try to mess around with that connection and see if you can get any data to pass through that connection otherwise, as the patch function itself can be pretty finickey. The errors with patch are not really helpful, as you can see, and it can be a wide variety of things - the biggest thing I would ensure is that both 'sides' match up when the form is submitted.
This probably is not all that helpful, but keep trying different things - I have had similar issues in the past and it always seems like absolute random things fix it.
Hi @sustar ,
Please check if there is another Patch formula on one of properties of Form. The error sometimes occurs when you use SubmitForm and Patch at the same time.
Best regards,
Rimmon
Hi,
Thank you for coming back on my query.
Sorry, I am new to SharePoint and PowerApps. I am a self learner. I don't understand what is a Patch function.
I found a strange thing. When I open the form from Microsoft Lists, the form works. However, when I open it from SharePoint, it is throwing the Patch function error. Would you guys know what could be the reason please?
Thanks.
