Hello!
I posted it because there was a part I didn't understand about the transition of the Power Apps button.I want to open another window when I press the button, but it opens in another tab.Is there a better way?
Your browser should decide how to handle a launch request. Some will open a tab by default and others will open a new window by default. Most offer the user a choice of what they want to happen. I don't think there is a way to intentionally force all browsers to open a separate window.
If you want your canvas app to make it look like it's opening a window over top of the currently viewed screen, then you can simulate that by transitioning to a separate screen and greying out the original screen behind (google up "modal windows in power apps"). Here is a quick sample: Power Apps - How to Create a Dialog Box in 3 Steps - YouTube
Thank you for your reply!
It seems difficult to specify tabs or windows on the application side.
Thank you for your suggestion regarding the dialog display.
I want to display the website (SharePoint Online page) in the dialog.Do you know how to place the website in the campus app?
Dialog boxes would be for IN APP windows that appear like there is another window opening (perhaps on a related entity). If you're going out to a separate site (eg: SharePoint) then using the launch() behaviour is appropriate.
As mentioned, the user decides how the new page is opened (either in a tab or in another window).
