Flow working but received duplicate emails

Hi there!

I have created a flow as below.

When a file is modified -> Send an email.

The flow is working fine but sometimes I received duplicate emails even I just modified the file once online.
Any condition should be added?

Hi @Airman,

Thanks for feedback.

You said that you get duplicate emails when the file is modified online. It would be the cause. When a file is modified online, it would be autosaved every 5 to 10 minutes, so the flow would be triggered each time the file is autosaved.

I have made a test. It seems that when I modify the file online within a very short time, it will only trigger once. However, if I open the file for several minutes then save it, the flow will be triggered twice or more.

A workaround for this issue is to use the trigger When a file is created, and modify the file on local then load the file to your cloud storage account.

Hi There,

I need to reopen this issue because my clients are complaining there received duplicate emails and flooding.
I am trying to find out a sollution for this. For example, refresh every 10 minutes to compare the file modified date and time, then return me if there is any changes. However, it worked sometimes, but not always. Please kindly advise if my flow is wrong. Many thanks in advance!Current flowNew flow
